I am assuming the geisha district is called Yugawara. They are called "Geigi" unless I am mistranslating (which we all know is a definite possibility, ha!).

Hiring, here are the requirements:

19 years - 30 years old ranked No experience available
Income:

3000 - 4000 yen per hour (more than 46 million monthly)
Sang clothing:

Kimono rental (some couture)
Lessons such as:

Including dance, shamisen, and drum
Time:

Until about 18:30 to 24:00
Others:

Are also looking for part-time job

According to their list, there are six okiya (geisha family houses) in the Iiyama Union.

13 girls in Takami Okiya
6 girls in Izumi Okyia

There is a third okiya but the link no longer works.
