Post  esther on Mon Dec 21, 2009 12:03 pm

Ikebana International Chapter 65 will hold its first annual Asian Market on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at the Chapel on the Hill, United Church of Christ, 12601 Park Blvd., Seminole, Florida from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. rain or shine. Ikebana is the ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement started by Buddhist priests in the 6th century. St. Petersburg Chapter 65 has five different schools with several sensei (teachers) who are world renowned. At the market you will find all things Asian and more: Arts, crafts, jewelry, antiques, collectibles, pottery, food, and everything else will be for sale. Vendor applications are still available for inside tables or your own booth outside. For information call Monique Noujaim at (727) 510-2490.
