Beyond Golden Clouds - Chicago Art Museum Exibit
The Chicago Art Museum is offering an exibit atm, of Japanese screens/room dividers. The exibit costs nothing beyond the cost of admission into the museum.

Here are a few photos I took for those people who are interested in the exibit but can not get to the museum. There was a great many screens, many older and some modern. The photos only offer a small sample of the screens, which stoof well over 6ft in most cases, and were over 12ft long.
Main view of the primary gallery room.
Views of some of the screens - there were easily around 20 screens in total.

Wow! Amazing! Thanks OhioKimono. I wish I could see them in person... They had one small screen at the Morikami Museum & Gardens in Delray Beach, FL about a year or two ago. That was beautiful--this must have been sensory overload.
wow
I like, i like.
Wish i could be up to visit.
Maybe if i get a time machine.
Thanks for the post.
Anyone from Florida going to see it?
