I am assuming the geisha district is called Yugawara. They are called "Geigi" unless I am mistranslating (which we all know is a definite possibility, ha!).

Iiyama geisha union 置屋
Hiring, here are the requirements:
According to their list, there are six okiya (geisha family houses) in the Iiyama Union.
13 girls in Takami Okiya
6 girls in Izumi Okyia
There is a third okiya but the link no longer works.
